## What it is

1sc Core is a 5G Standalone core implemented in Rust. It is not a wrapper around free5GC or Open5GS.

The core is organized as independent network-function services with explicit service interfaces. The default baseline includes NRF, UDR, UDM, AUSF, PCF, NSSF, AMF, SMF, and UPF.

> **Closed source:** 1sc Core is proprietary. These docs describe architecture, behavior, integration boundaries, and current limits without exposing source code, private algorithms, or build internals.
