Know what the Rust core does not claim today.
Current limits
- The current baseline is lab-grade, not a general-purpose carrier core.
- Real hardware compatibility is not claimed until named hardware or gNB profiles are validated.
- Lab ICMP responder verifies only the built-in packet target. External IPv4 network with NAT is a separate mode and requires UE-to-server traffic evidence.
- PFCP, QoS, charging, roaming, IMS, analytics, non-3GPP access, and broad mobility behavior are not part of the default baseline.
- Source code, source-level debugging, reproducible builds from source, and custom patches to core internals are not available.
